Coke

We have our own production unit – OKK Koksovny, a.s. which produces a complete range of coke for foundry, metallurgical production, special metallurgy and heating. Production takes place in four coke-oven batteries, which have 210 chambers with a production capacity of about 850 thousand tons / year. Coke is produced from high quality coking coal which comes from the Upper Silesian coal Basin, but also from other parts of Europe and the World. OKK Koksovny, a.s. is a significant member of the Czech coking society. In addition to all kinds of coke manufactured for demanding clients on domestic and foreign market, the coking plant produces a considerable amount of coke-oven gas, tar, benzol, ammonium sulphate and elementary sulphur.
